Global agro-scientific developments have made fried chicken and other fast foods popular even in regions without prior cultural ties to such cuisine. Today, the stable supply, lower costs, and the rise of modern eating habits have fueled the fast food industry's rapid growth. In Stoke-on-Trent, the high proportion of fast food outlets compared to healthier dining options reveals how our food choices are shaped by our environment, often leaving us with the illusion of choice when, in reality, options are limited. This artwork uses different shoe characters to represent social class, inviting the audience to step into these metaphorical roles; the piece encourages a personal connection to the themes of class and consumption.

She highlights the importance of making conscious food choices that nourish the inner self rather than simply responding to external influences. It challenges viewers to recognize how their environment shapes their decisions and to take responsibility for their health and well-being beyond the surface of convenience.
